Then again, maybe we’re overlooking the real theatrical draw for this year’s Con: after all, it’s easy to forget how Tyler Posey used to bring down the roof whenever Teen Wolf the series took over Hall H. No Mav appearance scheduled for this year, but Paramount is promising an early look of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Talent loves to surprise fans, and at the last in person Comic-Con, Tom Cruise big-footed Paramount/Skydance’s Terminator: Dark Fate panel to show off the first teaser to Top Gun: Maverick. So it wouldn’t come as a shock if somehow there’s a surprise tease for Lionsgate’s John Wick: Chapter 4 (opening March 24, 2023) lurking around somewhere. Keanu Reeves is making an appearance at the confab to talk up his BRZRKR movie, while John Wick director Chad Stahelski is on a Collider director’s panel elsewhere at the Con. There’s also buzz that Henry Cavill will put in a surprise appearance to talk up more Superman.
